2900 Series Round Baler
Whether you’re a large dairy or livestock farmer or a commercial hay producer, the Hesston by Massey Ferguson® 2900 Series gives you the rugged, advanced, high-throughput baler that can handle whatever your operation demands.
The Hesston legacy of haying innovation continues with the 2900 Series. Advances include Sure-Trac crowned drive rollers, a dual-tube twine arm, and 3-ply WedgeGrip bale forming belts — all designed to ensure quality bales and longer service life.
The 2900 Series balers are available as automatic. The baler handles wrapping and ejection of bales on its own, allowing the operator to focus on starting and stopping the tractor.
A torsion axle and large flotation tires allow 2900 Series balers to glide across the roughest fields with ease while keeping the pickup close to the ground.

More Complete Camless Pick-Up
The RB Series features five tine bars with teeth spaced just 2.5 inches apart, allowing for a far more complete capture of crop on the field. A crop press roller is positioned in front of the pickup to enhance crop feeding into the chamber.
Chopping made efficient
Two sets of XtraCut™ hydraulically operated knife banks can be controlled or disengaged from the tractor cab. Select zero, eight, nine or all 17 knives to attain forage cuts as small as 2.65 inches in length.
More Operator Control
The E-link Pro™ touchscreen monitor tracks bale formation and allows in-cab control of cutter engagement and knife group selection. In addition, the baler’s ISOBUS design allows the use of any compatible tractor monitor for baler monitoring and control.
